FAQ

FAQ

When do I need to order for Halloween?
Standard shipping: by Tuesday, October 20. Express: by Friday, October 23. Every product page shows its own date, and if a product cannot make it, the page says so before checkout.
Do your props survive wind and rain?
Anything marked wind-tested ships with real anchoring hardware and is rated for a 25 mph gust when installed as directed. Resin and fabric pieces are outdoor-rated for the season; we still recommend bringing electronics in before a named storm.
Do animatronics come with power adapters?
Yes. Every plug-in piece ships with its UL/ETL-listed adapter, and the product page lists cord length so you can plan the extension run before the box arrives.
Can I return something if it is scarier in person than expected?
Yes — 30 days from delivery, unused, in the original packaging. See the returns page. It happens more than you would think, and usually with grandparents involved.
Do you ship outside the USA?
Not this season. US addresses only, all 50 states.
Is everything in stock?
Everything you can add to the cart is in a US warehouse. We remove products from the store when stock runs out instead of taking backorders we cannot land by Halloween.
What about sales tax?
Tax is calculated at checkout from your shipping address, following the rules of your state. The number you see before you pay is the number you pay — nothing is added afterwards.
What happens if I order after the cutoff?
Between Tuesday, October 20 and Friday, October 23, express is the only method that still lands before Halloween, and the store says so on every product page. After that we keep selling, and we tell you plainly that the piece arrives for next season — no order is taken under a date we cannot hit.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes, while it is still in the warehouse. Email us with the order number as soon as you know. Once the label is printed the carrier decides, and the fastest route is to refuse delivery or return it.
Can I return a prop I used on Halloween night?
No. Returns are for unused pieces in the original packaging, within 30 days. A prop that spent the night in a yard is a used prop, and accepting those would price the season for everyone else. If it failed while it was out there, that is warranty, not a return — write to us.
Is there a warranty?
Manufacturing defects are covered until January 31 of the year after you buy: motors that stop, lights that fail, seams that open. Normal wear, storm damage and installation against the instructions are not. The full terms are on the terms page.
My animatronic arrived and will not turn on. Now what?
Check the adapter barrel is seated and the switch is on TRY-ME, not OFF — it is the fix about half the time. If it still does nothing, send a photo of the piece and of the adapter label with your order number and we ship a replacement; you do not send the dead one back at your own cost.
